This was the First word of the First Man in space: Yuri Gagarin, seconds before Lifting off!

Sergei Korolev, chief designer said "LIFT OFF! We wish you a good flight. Everything is all right." 

After lifting off, Yuri Gagarin said " “I see Earth! It is so beautiful!” Gagarin said from orbit. “I see rivers. Visibility is good."

These words were the first ever heard from a human at Space.

Yuri Gagarin was born in Klushino March 9, 1934. By the age of 21 he was already enrolled at the Soviet Union Air Force.

After his preparation for the Soviet Union Air Force, he entered a program where he was selected among 19 other participants, to become the First Cosmonaut.

Yuri Gagarin, fifty years ago accomplished 108 
minutes in orbit. In the spacecraft named Vostok-1 (East) which weighed 4,540 kilograms. The highest altitude was 327 kilometers, above Earth.

After completing a whole orbit around Earth, he returned with the descent capsule, which he actually didn't  control, everything was remotely controlled from  Earth. Just in case, he had a special key contained inside a sealed envelope.

After reentering Earth's atmosphere Yuri Gagarin landed with a parachute. 

Conspicuously, seven years later, Yuri Gagarin, after traveling to space and coming back safely, he had an Jet Crash at a MIG-15. He had already been selected for a second spaceflight.
