Geologist Joseph Licciardi of the University of New Hampshire, caught this amazing picture of Eyjafjallajokull, this incredible ring of steam and gas.
It took five minutes for the ring to dissipate, but explanations are still waiting, scientists have not been able to discover why this happens. This is quite similar to the phenomenon occurred at Mount Etna, Sicily in year 2000 (right) We must wait and see what else Eyjafjallajokull has for us, in the mean time we should enjoy of the incredible mother nature.
