How About...Eyjafjallajokull
And Eyjafjallajokull continues with his mischievous behaviour.
Once more, Eyjafjallajokull is leaving scientists and society astonished. What you see to your left is the reason why...
Geologist Joseph Licciardi of the University of New Hampshire, caught this amazing picture of Eyjafjallajokull, this incredible ring of steam and gas.
It took five minutes for the ring to dissipate, but explanations are still waiting, scientists have not been able to discover why this happens. This is quite similar to the phenomenon occurred at Mount Etna, Sicily in year 2000 (right)
We must wait and see what else Eyjafjallajokull has for us, in the mean time we should enjoy of the incredible mother nature.
Thanks.
I.

How About...NASA TV (live)
Hi there!
I just wanted to tell you all, that NASA TV (live) is now available at this blog, it would be located right below the "NASA image of the day" gadget.
Hope you enjoy, all the materials presented are live video broadcasts.
This time, you will be able to see live images from Astronauts from Atlantis STS-132 crew, which are at the ISS (International Space Station)
They normally show live Earth pictures taken from the ISS, and they play thanks to micro-gravity.
If you don´t feel comfortable with the little size, you can double click the video and you will be able to see a full screen video.
Thanks.
