How About...A fifth moon?

One more moon unveiled

NASA's team of astronomers, with the help of Hubble Space Telescope discovered another Moon orbiting the now Dwarf Planet Pluto.

Scientists say that this new discovery adds a total of 5 moons orbiting the dwarf planet Pluto.

NASA researchers are amazed, because they are trying to understand how is it possible for such a small planet to conceive a so complex system of  satellites.

It is believed that these five moons are the remnants of ancient collisions between Pluto and the Kuiper belt.

This new moon has an orbit diameter of approximately 92,800 km, and its size is around 9.6 to 15 km. Scientists say it has an irregular shape.

Until now, we'll have to wait for the NASA's spacecraft New Horizons to fly-by Pluto in year 2015.

For now we could keep an eye through Hubble  Space Telescope.

Thanks!
